It was 11:11 and for the first time I didn’t wish for you.
Laying back in the sand I saw a shooting star and you didn’t fly across my mind like the times before.
My friend picked an eyelash off my face and said make a wish, I blew it out of her hand before I heard your name in my head.
On my birthday I made a wish alright when I blew my candles out but again to my surprise I didn’t see your face in my mind.
It’s been awhile since I felt like I needed you.
I wished on many things this year and they were all the same.
Never you, never will I a waste another wish for you again.
